a saturday afternoon…

Wake up, sun shining, and a big yellow dog butt in my face.  Catch up on email with a cup of coffee while my dog steals my shoes one by one to get my attention.  Grab dog and go forward for a “pull and drag”- it’s not a walk, it’s a few quick steps and stop every two feet to smell every single leaf on this bush and then, try to pee on it.  And onto to some editing…..so far, the very best part of my day.  Thank you cool people.  This session was just about effortless for these guys.  Show up, look incredibly cool without even trying, and go home. While laughing and cracking up the whole entire time.  What a great family.  Such a nice Saturday edit so far.

ETA~that is my dog I am describing smelling the bushes, not me.  just to be clear….

every once in a while…

I can’t remember the last time I blogged twice in one day.  If I ever have at all.  (I don’t think that’s a sentence)  I digress.  Just finished a great little session with my six month old little friend, and while quickly going back through the session, I was stopped in my tracks.  Every once in a while, I am just stopped in my tracks.  Cameron was so cute today and tolerated so much so well.  I know his Mommy is going to be more proud of him every single day.  They both seem to sparkle  around each other.  But Dad has his own charms too.  My sincere gratitude  for such a great session.

I think you all pretty much rocked it.

My second superhero session.  These just get better each time (I know-I have only done two).  Just sayin’.

Meet Avery.  She chose her costume and her two “besties” to help her combat evil doers and bring peace and harmony to our little planet.

She simply shines.

Thank you to my new little friend for taking time out of her day to play along.  She is an awesome superhero.  I know the future is in good hands….

Still on the hunt for a few more superheroes if you happen to have one who is waiting to be discovered.  This session is free being it is my personal project.  (will provide a free 8×10-sorry, no digital files)

Very cute and original photos! I do have 2 little superheros… Lizzie (age 5 1/2) and Jacob (turning 3 next week). Are you in S. CA? We live in SJ but will be in Anaheim and Aliso Viejo next week to go to Disneyland for Jacob’s 3rd birthday and to visit my best friend, Tatiana Oberon. Could probably squeeze in a photo shoot if you are in that area. If it works out I’d love an 8×10 superhero photo of my kids! : )
