We are so spoiled in California. The mildest of winters anywhere I would guess. Some rain here and there but certainly nothing that ever would qualify as “STORM WATCH”. If you live here, and see the weather others endure, I am sure you would agree. This weekend we are on the map for a change of weather. Change is good. Can be exciting. Wear galoshes…or some cool hunter boots. It will be perfect for those and you will be “splashing”. Are you ready?

Yes. I know. It is the 18th. I’m late. And I have been going strong since the new year began. Glad to be busy and even happier to have a bit of a break.

It’s necessary. Be still. Be silent. Refuel. Recharge. All that. It is really helpful to maintain creativity. That’s why I feel it’s necessary. I love the idea of the new year.

I always have. A chance for everyone to look back, say goodbye, and say hello to new adventures ahead. I plan on maintaining my plans. And making bigger bolder ones.

I plan on challenging myself everyday. Here’s to you 2012. A soft warm kiss on your cheek. I can’t wait to get to know you….

I love the internet. You literally can find the answers to almost all of your questions online. Here is a little “how to” rock your photo session for you. Pretty simple. At least it was for this family. 1. Show up. 2. Stand right here (in really nice light) 3. Look this way. 4. And we are done. Well, okay, there is a bit more to it than that, but it didn’t seem like it. I love hanging with these guys. And I would have had an extra hour if it weren’t for the time change.

Boy, that sun drops fast now.

Just returned from a short visit to the beautiful island of O’ahu to meet my newest cousin, miss Kennedy. She is as warm and sweet as the hawaiian air, and as soft as plumeria petals.

Treat. Definitely treat. And the sugary kind, please. Sweet tarts, gobstoppers, lemon heads, and lucky me has a visit to the dentist real soon. Good thing. I don’t go for chocolate. (that’s Kona’s area-long story) Seriously, there is a 5 pound bag of chocolate bars from costco that hasn’t been touched. But the other bag. The other bag. Well, all I can say is those short people in their fabulously mad costumes better come around quick. I can only guarantee you’ll get some chocolate. And that is if Kona doesn’t get it first. ( back to the order of the day)

I finally got to spend some time with my niece Kendall yesterday and had some fun shooting some pics and shooting the breeze. Definitely a treat. Just love my little K. What a beautiful woman you are. Takes my breath away….
